JASMINE ALBUQUERQUE CROISSANT
DANCE
Jasmine Albuquerque Croissant is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor who has danced with such companies as Hysterica, Blue13 Bollywood, Collage Dance Theater and Ryan Heffington's psycho-dance troupe Fingered. Her current work with the dance company WIFE will forever inspire and unravel the limitations of her creativity.
She has choreographed music videos for Tennis, Devendra Banhart, and Bob Wayne and danced in videos for The Acid, Ry X, MIKA, Laura Marling, Verve Records, Beck, You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, Morcheeba, and Todd Edwards. She studied contemporary movement in Budapest and at The Edge in Hollywood, after years of ballet and jazz training. While majoring in History at UCLA, she danced for the Department of World Arts and Cultures and later taught movement workshops in Chiapas and Copenhagen.
